Q710E IP Phone Configuration

Q710E Manual

Step 1

Connect the phone to your router, once it is on. Then Press the Down Arrow Button on your phone and you should see the IP address. Type in Internet Explorer as http://xxx.xxx.xx.x

Login as admin and Password as admin

Follow these steps to configurate the phone with our service

Step 2

Setting up your phone to connect properly with your network

Once Logged in Click on Network
Click on WAN
Change these parameters if needed
Tick Static IP
Tick Obtain DNS Automatically
Type in your Static IP
Netmask 255.255.255.0
Type in your Router / Gateway Address
Click on LAN
Untick DHCP Service
Untick NAT
Tick Bridge Mode
Click on Apply

Once that done the phone will Reboot.

Step 3

Setting the Time Zone

Repeat step 1. Please note that if you have changed the IP address, then you would need to type the new address.

Click on Network - SNTP
Change the Time Zone to suit your location
Click on Apply

Step 4

Setting up VOIP

Click on VOIP
Then fill these parameters

Server Address: Look for note 1 at the bottom of this page.
Server Port: 5060
Account Name: Your Login number
Password: Your VoIP Password
Phone Number: Your Login Number
Enable Register: Tick
Click on Advanced and Tick Enable Subscribe
Click on Apply

Step 5

Setting Codec's

Please note before you change any codec, you would need to know what type of speed is your internet connection. To check your speed goto http://speedtest.net and run a test

Click on Phone - Then DSP

Change these Parameters

For low speed internet connection

First Codec - G729
Second Codec - None
Third Codec - None
Fourth Codec - None
Click on Apply

For high speed internet connection

First Codec - G711Alaw64k
Second Codec - G729
Third Codec - None
Fourth Codec - None
Click on Apply

Ready to make Calls
Enjoy.

Call the number 09 9000 9002 to check your voice

Now that you are setup, you are ready to make and receive calls

Note 1 -
Residential Plan Customers needs to connect to the server address found in your activation email
Business Plan Customers needs to connect to sip.bbvoice.com.au or IP address  203.176.185.10 if you have issues connecting.
